MIDAC traction batteries for charging technologyMIDAC 24V standard units
MIDAC also produces liquid electrolyte traction batteries in standard sizes - units that are available in 24V only. They are particularly widely used when a cheap and reliable solution is needed for a wide range of handling and storage applications. It is the same traction battery, but the casing is made of industrial platinum instead of metal, which allows the production of such a battery to be fully automated and therefore at a lower cost. These batteries have the same capacity as batteries in metal boxes, i.e. over 1500 cycles.

MIDAC is one of the oldest battery manufacturers in the EU, specialising in the production of liquid electrolyte batteries for loading and storage applications. In this section you can buy the most popular 24V batteries, which are available in a quick-supply warehouse in Italy at the Midac factory. By selecting the battery capacity Ah from the list below, you will immediately see the dimensions and weight of the battery and the drawing number. At the bottom of the page there is a summary of the 24V batteries from the rapid supply warehouse, where you can download a PDF document with the full drawing of the battery to your computer by clicking on the drawing number. The lead time is usually only 2 to 3 weeks and batteries are always supplied in new metal insulated boxes, factory assembled and calibrated and freshly manufactured (no more than 2 weeks old from the date of manufacture). Batteries shall only be supplied from the rapid supply depot with an integrated central battery water recharge system. We can also offer a credit for an old battery, in which case please contact us or write at the end of your order that you want to return the old battery, and we will include the credit in your purchase documents. If the battery you need is not in stock or you want to save some money by not having to order a central water top-up system (for a 24V battery it costs €105 excl. VAT), please contact us and we will offer you what you need.

Batteries GEL, AGM, Pb and othersDiscover EV512G-080 battery
DISCOVER GEL - deep cycle traction batteries adapted to real working conditions - i.e. can be quickly recharged with a charger of the appropriate capacity, can „tolerate” partial charges during the day, are ideal for replacing EXIDE GEL or Sonnenchein GEL batteries (e.g. GF 12 76, etc.)
Discover® DRY CELL industrial traction and deep cycle batteries are “TRUE GEL” batteries and are suitable for both replacing end-of-life batteries and for fitting to new equipment. The batteries provide exceptional durability even under partial charging and/or high ambient temperature operating conditions. DISCOVER GEL batteries have more cycles than Discover AGM batteries, making them ideal for demanding energy storage applications.
Remark:
- Always make sure you use the correct charging algorithm. The DISCOVER GEL battery is suitable for all classic GEL charging algorithms that have a balancing mode such as EXIDE, Sonnenchein GEL (market standard), etc.
- If you have had to undercharge the battery during the day, we recommend that you leave the battery overnight after the work to recharge it fully - in this case the damage caused by undercharging is fully compensated for (as one undercharge can destroy between 3 and 6 cycles of the battery's lifetime, which in total is about 550 cycles at a depth of discharge of 80%, or about 600 to 900 cycles at a discharge depth of 70%).
