The principle of operation: the operator picks up the load with the trolley himself, whether it is a production line, a packaging line or simply a picking area, and arrives at the departure area. He then selects the final delivery point (there may be several) and starts the trolley by pressing a dedicated button. The trolley drives itself to the place where it has been set and arrives with the goods at the destination and stops at the marked zone. Another operator then picks up the load and takes it to where it needs to go and gives the command to APT 15 to turn back or to go with another load to another destination. The advantage of such a system is the flexibility and the possibility to save human resources for routine and low value-added tasks such as transporting goods between standard loading and unloading zones.
