Description
The manufacturer declares that DISCOVER AGM batteries can be undercharged during the day if necessary (e.g. to allow enough time for the evening shift). In such cases, it is very important to be aware that partial charges can only be carried out with chargers that have the DISCOVER AGM charging algorithm installed and, very importantly, that the equipment is left on full charge overnight on the days on which the partial charges were carried out, in order to compensate for the damage caused by the partial charges.
DRY CELL TECHNOLOGY - WHAT IS IT?
- IMPROVED ALLOYS - Thick graphite-enriched alloy plates maintain maximum lifetime
- CARBON REINFORCEMENT - Carbon additives improve cycling performance, charge acceptance and protect against partial charge damage
- AUTOMATIC INTERFERENCE WELDING - Improved consistency of welding between cell compartments, which saves lead compared to manual welding (basic models). Withstands higher currents and at the same time has lower internal resistance
- POLYPROPYLENE HOUSING - High heat resistance and reliability. High-precision pressure regulating valves reduce water loss and extend service life. Integrated spark arrestors protect against fire and explosion
- HYDRO POLYMERS - Organic capillary separators with hydropolymer electrolyte protect against electrolyte evaporation and overheating. Resistant to desiccation and protect against thermal leakage. Maintains nominal performance throughout its service life. Enriched Glass Fibre Dry Cell Technology, no free electrolyte leakage.

EXTREME TEMPERATURES |
| - High Ah capacity - High operating voltage for lifetime
- Maintains voltage above 1.9V cell voltage at 80% IG |
- Long lifetime compared to other liquid electrolytes
/ AGM / Gel batteries - 550+ cycles 70% IG (IEC 254-1 Traction Lead Acid)- 350+ cycles 100% IG (DIN 43539 VRLA) |
- For under-charge operation (AGM)- High-intensity cyclic operation (AGM/Gel)
- For overloading and deep discharge (AGM)
- Dual-purpose for AGM/Gel charging algorithms |
- AGMs can work at high ambient temperatures - AGM and Gel batteries work well at low temperatures” |
