MIDAC standard traction batteries
Manufactured using advanced MIDAC battery production technology, standard MOTIVE POWER traction batteries are long-lasting and feature excellent performance characteristics. This is the most popular type of battery for forklifts and other warehouse equipment – they are ideal for both regular and shift work.
MIDAC technology was independently created and developed by the company itself, which is why only MIDAC has its own cell labeling: MDL complies with PzS (DIN, EN 60254-1/2 standard), MBS – PzB (SB, EN 50272-3, also known as the British Standard). All possible cell configurations are manufactured, and MIDAC batteries have a reputation in the market for being exceptionally long-lasting.

Cell structure
- Tight cell cover firmly holds the terminals with rubber seals – the electrolyte will not leak, and salts that promote self-discharge will not accumulate on the surface. The lid is also adapted to the Air-Tech air circulation system.
- Sturdy clamps with M10 thread - low resistance alloy and good mechanical properties, the cells can be safely rebuilt.
- Flexible insulated cell connections.
- Polyethylene separator with micropores – insulates the plates and facilitates electrolyte circulation.
- Tubular positive plates and negative grid plates thick lead grids ensure a long service life and stable capacity.
Additional options
The greatest benefit is obtained by purchasing the battery condition indicator together. MB2 go to factory charger MIDATRON (or another manufacturer-approved one). MB2 continuously monitors voltage, connection resistance, charging and load currents, electrolyte level, and temperature, and together with MIDATRON adjusts the charging algorithm – this significantly extends battery life, especially in intensive or aggressive (e.g., refrigerator) conditions. The electrolyte level indicator shows with a green, orange, or red light whether the battery is being properly maintained.
