TROJAN is a pioneer in the production of deep-cycle (discharge) batteries, the first in the world to produce them industrially. Even today, TROJAN remains at the forefront of innovation and production, with 2 research centres and active collaboration with independent research institutions.
TROJAN's technology and innovation drive started with liquid electrolyte deep cycle batteries.
They are now all based on T2 technology, which has been designed and developed on the basis of older technology, strengthening the weakest points or eliminating them altogether.
T2 technology covers both lead plate production (Alpha Plus technology) and plate frame production, as well as separator (Maxguard® technology) and even cell body design features.
In other words, it is a set of measures with a very simple objective: to produce batteries that set standards in the market.
