Security is the cornerstone of OPH01 models. The lifting process is extremely gentle and smooth thanks to proportional hydraulic control. What's more, the lifting speed decreases depending on the lifting height - the higher the lift, the slower the lift. The operator therefore always rises to the required working height smoothly and without unnecessary inertia. Both models have an automatically closing operator safety door. If the door is not closed, the order picker cannot be moved. In addition, both control handles have additional buttons - only by pressing them can the order picker be operated. This ensures that operation is always carried out with both hands. The lifting mechanism and the protective frame are made of aluminium, making the construction strong and light. The structural lightness not only extends the battery life during the day, but also lowers the centre of gravity below the base. And the lower the centre of gravity, the more stable any machinery is. The wheels are covered with elastic rubber to ensure good grip - which is especially important when driving on a raised ground, as any slipping can cause instability.
Supplied with audible alarm, warning beacon, reversing light and blue beam light to provide sufficient warning signals to bystanders. The order picker has an attractive appearance, excellent ergonomics and a practical design, a height-adjustable picking platform and side lights. An overhead cradle light can also be ordered as an option, so that the order picker can be used even in poorly lit areas.
OPH collectors are designed for high-intensity work. Powered by CURTIS electric drives, they can take off and go at the same time, gently and safely. Both models are equipped with AC motors. The OPH01 has 2 front AC motors, which are used for steering. What's more, the driving motors can reverse the direction of travel, so that the OPH01 models rotate practically inside a circle. The OPH01 model also has a lightly damped front axle. As a result, the OPH01 has a full turning corridor of only 1300 mm, making it much easier to get around obstacles, and the traction motors are made in Italy.
The operator does not have to put extra thought into choosing a safe speed when driving at altitude. With the cradle lowered, the travel speed is up to 5.5 km/h. If the height is between 500 and 1500 mm, the travel speed is automatically reduced to 3.2 km/h. If higher, the speed is reduced to 1.4 km/h
